Welcome to the home page of the Nevada Rural Electric Association (NREA)
What Makes NREA Different?
Nevada Rural Electric Association utilities are democratically organized and controlled by their members, who actively participate in setting policies and making decisions. Members of the Board of Directors are elected by and from local citizens who take service from the utility. Our directors, managers and employees work hard to bring a better quality of life to the people and communities we serve in a way that strengthens member loyalty. We work to understand the needs of our members and are strong advocates for their interests. Each of our members is either cooperatively organized and owned by their members, or a consumer owned not for profit utility.
